"It is knowledge that we ourselves missed when we were in the middle of it all, where everything was the first time and completely, completely unmanageable."

The book is primarily aimed at parents of children with disabilities caused by epilepsy, autism and ADHD or related disorders. Next, it addresses other relatives and the entire professional segment, i.e. to teachers, to doctors, to staff at residences or caseworkers at the municipalities and to other professionals with relationships with children and young people with mental vulnerability. The aim is to pass on valuable experience, gathered over more than 30 years as parents of a disabled child, to others parents. For both new parents who struggle with grief and acceptance of having a disabled child and for parents who are further along in their "parenting life" to a child with a disability.
